About Oído
Oído: Listening. Learning. Becoming.
The name Oído comes from a kitchen in Mexico, where cooks would call out “¡Oído, chef!” — a simple phrase meaning I heard you, I respect you. That moment stuck with me, because it captures what this work is all about: listening, connection, and effective communication.
We’re all communicating all day long, but not all communication is effective. Most of us were never taught how to truly connect, with ourselves or with others. At Oido, we help individuals and teams deepen self-awareness, strengthen communication, and develop human-centered skills that transform relationships and drive results.
Lasting change begins with listening to ourselves, to others, and to what’s left unsaid. Through coaching, workshops, and leadership development, we guide people and teams in turning awareness into action, building healthier relationships, and creating more fulfilling lives.
Whether you’re navigating career or relationship transitions, leading a team, or fostering a culture of trust, Oido provides the guidance and tools to turn awareness into action. By listening deeply, you unlock your potential, and the potential of those around you.
About Amanda, Our Founder
Amanda teaches what she’s lived. Her journey has been rich with learning, growth, and transformation, moments of challenge and moments of power, heartbreak and joy. The lessons that shaped her most came from understanding herself through those experiences and navigating transitions that fueled her personal and professional growth.
Drawn early to helping others, Amanda began her career teaching emotional intelligence to high school students. Over time, she evolved into guiding adults to live with those same skills-- to navigate life, relationships, and work with clarity and confidence. Like many of us, she has faced obstacles, tough conversations, and self-limiting beliefs. What she’s discovered, and now helps others realize, is that real growth comes from listening to yourself, leaning into discomfort, and making choices aligned with your best self.
Through coaching, workshops, and leadership development, Amanda empowers people to clarify their strengths, speak their truth, and make intentional decisions that lead to stronger relationships, more fulfilling work, and a deeper sense of purpose and satisfaction.
