Consulting is providing expert advice to clients looking to improve themselves professionally and solve complex challenges or problems.
Why coaching and consulting?
I find the most effective and transformational process combines powerful questioning (coaching) to help you discover your own answers and desires, along with expert strategy and best practices (consulting/education). I drawn upon evidence-based methods, expertise, and my own experiences to teach and guide others through similar moments in life.
What types of people do you work with?
I work with ambitious individuals craving a fulfilling career and ready to commit to themselves. Most of my clients have had atleast a job or two (or 4 or 5) and are desiring a complete career change or something within their current field. I work with people who want clarity, who want something more, and need an expert to help get them there. I work in a variety of industries as well (I’ve touched almost every industry!), and can certainly help you achieve your goals. Drawing from my years of experience working with people, educating, and studying psychology, I am able to quickly understand who you are and where you’re coming from - and assess what steps you need. If you want a career and life that you love, I can work with you.
What types of groups do you work with?
I work with groups, teams, and organizations who need a spark to realign the purpose, energy, and confidence of a workplace. I do this via coaching programs and/or speaking + facilitation workshops. I love working with organizations and teams ready to offer next-level, intuitive career development support to their employees to increase satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Often, if individuals feel supported in their careers and empowered to identify their value, the entire team and organization will thrive. I am committed to quickly understanding what’s missing and what needs to change, and designing a solution that addresses a need.
What is personal development?
Personal development is hot buzz word these days. But just know, it’s a lifelong process. It is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their desires and set goals in order to realize and maximize their potential. It improves awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, builds character, facilitates career advancement, enhances the quality of life and contributes to living a more fulfilled life.
People who invest time to develop themselves will more likely achieve their highest visions. When you grow internally, your life gets bigger.
Same as a plant needs water to grow, people need personal development to grow as a human beings.
Why is career coaching a thing?
For most people, our careers shape our lives and are a big part of our identities. If something isn’t working in your career, it can be a relentless cloud that affects your wellbeing. You spend most of your time in your career, so why not get it right? Career coaching leads to a sense of wholeness, confidence, strength, and purpose. Working on your career also positive benefits other areas of your life.
Career coaching helps you make empowered decisions and navigate the windy road of life. And remember, Oprah and Michael Jordan have coaches. If you want to get to the next level, sometimes hiring an expert is the best way to get there.
I also think our current career pathing system is broken, meaning that we a) don’t properly teach people how to choose careers and b) the system hasn’t adapted to the workforce of today. Many individuals still choose careers based on what others wanted for them, not what they decided on their own. We are also dynamic, ever-changing individuals who sometimes simply just decide that something different needs to happen. Sometimes who you are now doesn’t fit who you were 5-10 years ago. That’s where career coaching comes in.
